A Millennial lost confidence when she couldn’t find a job. Here’s how she got her mojo back.

THE GOAL: In the year since Ashley Thompson, 22, from Queens, New York, graduated from Boston University with majors in journalism and Spanish, she has yet to find a paying job. She dreams of working in video production on women’s, international and social justice issues. But after a year of unpaid internships and freelancing, her confidence is rattled.

“I’ve been avoiding people and social situations because I’m so embarrassed I haven’t found a full-time job yet,” she said.
